My boyfriend and I tried this cocktail bar on the Friday of a long weekend in Bath - we came back every night. The staff who work here are second to none. So friendly and informative! The cocktails are unique and provide an experience in themselves. The bar staff really know their stuff. We were served by Dan who was able to give us whatever we asked for and create cocktails based on our respective tastes. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent hidden away bar. The cocktails are fabulous. The house gin is excellent too. The seating options are e a bit limited but the staff were kind enough to tell us a time when we could be accommodated and kept their word. Love the courtyard and the eclectic decor on the interior areas. Recommended for a night out.

A fantastic find by chance whilst having a stroll. Cocktails are super tasty & very strong, so you know you are getting your money's worth Ha. (I hadn't even fully finished my first one & could already feel it kicking in! lol). The staff member that welcomed us in & served us was Dan - he was superb; really friendly, chatty & just all round excellent at his job. The place is a real nice setting both inside & out. Highly recommended & we'll definitely be back when next in Bath. Many thanks

Top notch cocktail bar, heavily leaning towards whiskeys but not exclusive to them. The seasonal cocktail menu is always interesting and inventive, with both heavy twists on classics and drinks that feel entirely new. Music inside the bar is usually rap, which suits me, and the names of the cocktails are usually rap references as well. Always a good place to start the night, end the night, or maybe just spend the whole night.

Wonderful place, excellent service. Very friendly and the drinks were superb. Truly a hidden gem. We had a Espresso and they made a Singapore Sling on request.

Excellent first experience at The Hideout; our server was an incredibly friendly bearded man who went above and beyond the typical service you normally get at a bar. The venue has a lovely design and feel to it, with excellent music. A really nice little find; definitely recommend!

A really great cocktail bar with a unique and well-curated drinks menu. There’s a good mix of classics and more inventive options, and the staff are knowledgeable and happy to tailor drinks to your preferences, which made the experience feel personal rather than standard. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the bar snacks were genuinely good quality rather than an afterthought. The atmosphere is one of its biggest strengths — nicely tucked away, with a relaxed but lively feel. The outdoor heated seating is a great addition and makes it enjoyable even on cooler evenings. Overall, a spot well worth visiting if you’re looking for a solid cocktail bar option

Big thanks to Steven for making both visits memorable. One of the absolute highlights of my journey to Bath. The breath and depth of Stevens knowledge is nearly unprecedented. The scope of the whiskeys they carry is vast; there’s something for everyone. I cannot recommend enough a visit (or two) The Hideout. One of the top bars in the UK with some top notch bartenders. Thank you, Steven!! Also, they recommended a whiskey bar in Inverness (The Malt Room) which I’m very grateful for. Overall, incredible experience.
